First solidarity festival of the three cultures

The party, organized by Inspira Arrels next May 27, reminds us of ours land as a meeting point of Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures. Throughout Saturday 27 May, the Solidarity Party will take place in Plaça de Picasso in Sabadell of the Three Cultures, organized by Inspira Arrels with the collaboration of the Solidarity Pantry and the Association of Neighbors of Campoamor.

The day aims to highlight our land as a meeting point of different cultures, delving into the history and cultural heritage that we have in common and that range from one strict religious monotheism, up to aspects as disparate as art, literature or the gastronomy.

During the Middle Ages the Iberian Peninsula was a place where the known as lived together the Three Cultures: Christian, Jewish and Muslim. Despite the political events and possible disagreements, the reality is that the stay in one place of these three realities, which a priori may seem very different, has given rise to a series of manifestations cultural and artistic that have made this land a meeting place.

This first edition of the Solidarity Party will take place from 11 in the morning to eleven in the evening of the Three Cultures, which was born with the aim of establishing an intercultural dialogue that will fill the Plaça Picasso in the Campoamor district of Sabadell.

Throughout the day you can enjoy the Haima del tea social, a show of Magic in Family courtesy of Platform for the Language, various cultural workshops (such as Art Mudejar, the Sephardic songs with the renowned Rosa Zaragoza, songs from all three cultures with the sensitivity of Núria Cervera or the delicate dance of Yasmina Larts between others), the reading of poems and the Moroccan musical animation Dakka Al-Marrakchia.

We highlight the Intercultural Dialogue organized by Inspira Arrels. The meeting that will start at 5pm as part of the Festival, it will revolve around intercultural coexistence. Where representatives of three communities will share an intimate space of reflection while drinking tea in the Haima del te social.

Between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (excluding lunchtime) the Solidarity Pantry will organize a food collection.

The party will close with the concert "The Music of the 3 Cultures". The show will start at 9:00 p.m and is a compendium of Andalusian, Sephardic, Troubadour and medieval Christian pieces.
