Kabalat Shabat
We celebrate the community Kabbalat Shabbat every Friday.
In Atid services and tefillah, the use of traditional Ashkenazi nusach dressed with Mediterranean and Eastern Sephardic nuances results in a very special tefillah that undoubtedly reflects the variety of the members of our synagogue. Hebrew is used in all services, although siddurim with translated and transliterated texts are also provided to ensure that all attendees can follow the tefillah without problem.
Atid is an egalitarian congregation in which men and women have the same rights and the same obligations. We meet every Friday, as well as some Shabbat mornings. In addition, we offer all holiday and High Holiday services and educational and training programs related to tefillah and chazanut throughout the year.
*All contributions to the kiddush table are appreciated but remember that our community is jalabi/parve (no meat accepted).
