School Visits to our Synagogue

Last Monday, March 20, we received the 6th grade students in our synagogue. Primary School of l'Escola Prim. This has been the last school visit of this year, a fantastic and very enriching experience for both the students and the us. Through the OAR (Oficina d'Afers Religiosos) of the Barcelona City Council, Since the beginning of this year 2023 we have received the visit of more than 5 groups schoolchildren, a total of 150 students, from the INS La Sagrera and the Escola Sant Ramon Nonat who have come to see our synagogue and to learn what Judaism is.

The students have actively participated, have asked many questions, and have learned about our customs, traditions, symbols and festivals. But also have broken many stereotypes, and have discovered, to their astonishment, that they already knew many Jews, such as the creators of Superman, Batman or Stan Lee, creator of Marvel and your favorite superheroes. We wait for next year!
