Meeting of fathers and mothers of the Bnei Mitzvah

Last Sunday, June 11, we celebrated the second meeting of fathers and mothers of our Bnei Mitzvahs at ATID. In this second meeting, Miqui Fairmann presented her Talmud Torah project with which we will complement the training that our rabbi is giving to the Bnei Mitzvahs. Thus, in addition to the weekly classes with our rabbi, the boys and girls will have the opportunity to learn more about their Jewish identity, the festivities and the cycle of life together with Miqui in their weekly Talmud Torah classes.

We also had the intervention of Dominique Tomasov, who presented the Bnei Mitzvah with the possibility of taking a walk through the Call (Jewish quarter) in Barcelona. The Bnei Mitzvah thus have the opportunity and privilege to understand the Jewish past of their city at the hands of an expert in the field, who has been researching, learning and sharing her knowledge for more than 44 years. This activity aroused such interest among the fathers and mothers of the Bnei Mitzvah that we are already thinking of a joint outing for adults to get to know the Call of Barcelona together with Dominique.
