Monmouth Reform Temple Ambassadors

Last Friday we had the pleasure of receiving Cora and Stuart Tuchman, veteran members of this congregation founded in 1959 in New Jersey.

In 1981 they made a historic decision by hiring Sally Priesand, the first ordained rabbi in the US (1972) and second in the world.

Since 2006, Rabbi Priesand continues to be a benchmark for MRT as an emeritus.

Cora and Stu are great friends with our friend Semmes Brightman. They knew their son Michael well, who donated a sefer torah to Atid for his Bar Mitzvah.

Thank you for your visit and for the support you have given to Atid.
