Rosh Hashanah celebration in community
Last Friday, we gathered with joy to kick off the KS and celebrate together a Rosh Hashanah dinner, marking the beginning of the Jewish year. This emotional evening was steeped in our millennia-old traditions, where blessings and the sweetness of apples dipped in honey ?????? symbolized our shared wishes for a new year, Shana Tova Umetuká, filled with prosperity and happiness.
We shared moments of reflection and prayer, reminding ourselves of the importance of teshuvah (repentance) and personal renewal. The community came together in harmonious song, following the Jewish tradition that has sustained us for generations.
The dinner was a delightful experience that honored our Jewish culinary customs, featuring traditional dishes that evoked our cultural and spiritual ties. Amidst laughter and conversations, we celebrated the start of a new annual cycle, eagerly anticipating what the future holds and grateful for the opportunity to be together on this festive occasion. Shana Tova Umetuká to all our friends and loved ones, may this new year be filled with peace, health, and blessings.
