Former Israeli Foreign Minister and former ambassador to Spain Shlomo Ben Ami insists on the need for a political plan for the day after: a realistic and feasible proposal that will help Israel finally achieve peace with the Palestinians and with itself. A solution that, in Ben Ami's opinion, necessarily involves the "Jordanian-Palestinian confederation", forgetting the two-state formula and "returning to the terms of the 1991 Madrid Peace Conference"
