Sefarad Editores: Almost four decades spreading Jewish culture

This publishing house directed by Horacio Kohan has an Editorial Board of relevant figures from the world of culture.
With their collection “Library of Jewish Literature” they make known great classic titles that have not been disseminated in Spain, some translated for the first time into Spanish.
The collection “With Other Voices” includes relevant essays by Spanish and foreign authors to explore Jewish sensitivity and experience.
They recently began editing the collection of children's books "Biblioteca del Gan".

Since 1986 they have published Raíces: Revista Judía de Cultura (quarterly), which continues to be the only Jewish publication in Spain.
They publish information, articles and a rigorous opinion on Jewish cultural life, on Sephardic culture, arts, literature, history, language and Judeo-Hispanic thought.
Among the authors are researchers and specialists in the most diverse humanistic disciplines who write especially for the magazine or whose first translation is offered into Spanish.

Other publications are the Agenda of the Jewish Year and Carta de Sefarad, the monthly newsletter of cultural news.
