ARCCI: Jaime Vándor Awards 2023

The Catalonia Israel Cultural Relations Association aims to promote culture between countries at all levels, addressing issues that concern and affect any of the cultural, university, tourism, etc. areas.
In 2017, ARCCI institutionalized the “Jaime Vándor Awards” (two per year) to recognize the work of partners and supporters who have stood out for fostering or disseminating this relationship during the previous year or for their entire professional career related to them.
The award is made in November and, for obvious reasons, the 2023 awards were awarded on March 7.
Our warmest congratulations to Daniela Rosenfeld, Director of the Barcelona Jewish Film Festival, who has received this recognition for her work in promoting Jewish-themed cinema and culture in Barcelona since 1999. Without a doubt the highest level cultural event and significance in our city.
This award was also awarded to Uriel Macías, a specialist in Spanish bibliography of Judaica, author of numerous books, articles and catalogs on the subject.
