Ledor Va’dor: Bar/Bat Mitzva 2024

Last Sunday we had the first rehearsal with our first Bar Mitzva and our first Bat Mitzva of this year 2024.

After many hours of study, more than a year of preparation, the long-awaited celebration will finally take place in April.

On Hanukkah our beloved Ari inaugurated the year 5784 by celebrating his Bar Mitzvah at ATID with his family from the USA, Israel and Catalonia.

It was a very emotional moment for all of us after the hard weeks since October 7.

During this year 2024, eleven boys and girls have decided to celebrate their Bar/Bat Mitzva at ATID.

And there is already a waiting list!

In the dark times we are living in, it is a great pride to participate in the training of these young people who, week after week, dedicate a few hours of their time to learning Hebrew, chanting, liturgy and commenting on and interpreting the texts of the Torah.

Kol haKavod for those who are going to take such an important step in their life with us, in the coming months from April to November.
