Purim and Earth Hour
This 14th of Adar II, we not only celebrate Purim, coincidentally we also observe Earth Hour. An hour to become aware of our relationship with the environment.
This coincidence invited us to not only think about the forces of evil that Haman represented in ancient Persia, but also to think about the forces that are causing harm to our environment.
But just like Purim, Earth Hour is not treated as an occasion for sadness, but rather an opportunity to celebrate the fact that we are here at this moment and that we can act, like Queen Esther, to save LIFE.
We hope everyone had a happy and sustainable Purim.
With love,
The Sustainable Atid Team
