Tikun Leil Shavuot 2nd edition in Atid

Last Tuesday, June 11 at 8:00 p.m. we met to celebrate the second edition of Tikun Leil Shavuot at ATID. After the Arvit service, we shared a dinner with dairy delicacies among those attending the evening study session and talked about the meaning of Shavuot. During dessert we began our study session with a talk by Paul Gans, representative of ATID Sostenible, about his experiences with organic farming. After Paul's talk and the subsequent debate, we learned from our Rabbi about the origin of Lilith through the texts, as if it were a detective investigation, which took us from the possible Babylonian origins of the character, to the Kabbalistic postulates of the 13th century. The session ended around 11:00 p.m. but we were left wanting much more. Many thanks to the brave people who came to celebrate this night of study despite the downpour and storm that fell in Barcelona. See you next year!
