Mila Mochkovsky's Bat Mitzva

On Friday morning, June 14, during the shacharit service, our dear Mila put on her Tefillin and Tallit for the first time. In the evening, during the Kabbalat Shabbat service, Mila led the service alongside the Rabbi, and in front of friends and family. The next day, finally, she was called to the Torah for the first time and read her aliyot with ease. In her commentary on Parsha Nasó, Mila vehemently expressed her disagreement with the Sotah ritual and demonstrated to her friends, schoolmates, and family everything she had learned in these months of preparation.
