Bar Mitzvah by Ruben Mizrahi Mejías

Last Saturday Rubén Mizrahi had his Bar Mitzvah surrounded by family, friends and members of the ATID community who wanted to be with the family at this very special moment in Rubén's life. On Thursday we celebrated shacharit as a community and watched Rubén put on his tefillin and tallit for the first time, and on Friday Rubén led the Arvit service with the confidence he has acquired after all these months of study and preparation. Rubén's is the sixth Bar Mitzvah in ATID this year 5784, but we have two more left to close the year and three more distributed between the months of October, November and December, proof that this community is growing, contributing new leaders for the future of the Jewish community, boys and girls with very clear ideas who embrace the Torah with the conviction that everything will be better.
