Bar Mitzvah Eyal Rodríguez

Last Saturday, September 7, our beloved Eyal was honored with the reading of the Torah for the first time. Eyal read fluently and with absolute calm in front of a synagogue full of friends, family, community members, his first madrichim and the current madrichim of NOAM among others who did not want to miss this important moment for Eyal and his family.

On Thursday, Eyal had put on tefillin for the first time and on Friday he led the Shabbat Kabbalat and Arvit service for the first time. After many months preparing for the big day, Eyal not only read from the Torah and led the services, but he also read his dvar Torah on parsha Shoftim, offering us a valuable lesson in the value of justice and revenge.
