Dominique Tomasov Blinder receives the Jaime Vándor Award, Congratulations!
In our community, there are people whose dedication and commitment leave an indelible mark, and Dominique Tomasov Blinder is, without a doubt, one of them. This year, we are delighted to share that he has received the prestigious Jaime Vándor Award, in recognition of his tireless work for the preservation and dissemination of Jewish heritage in Sefarad for more than 20 years.
Dominique, born in New York and raised in Buenos Aires, is an architect by profession and has been contributing to cultural and community life in Barcelona since 1991. Her work as a promoter of the declaration of Cultural Assets of National Interest and her leadership at the Center d’Estudis Zakhor are just some examples of her commitment to historical memory and the Jewish legacy.
On Thursday, November 21, in a very special moment, our president, Sílvia Leida, was in charge of presenting him with this well-deserved award on behalf of the ARCCI, recognizing not only his professional career, but also his dedication as an active member of Atid, where She leads the Jevra and is always willing to collaborate with will and generosity.
From Atid, we want to congratulate her and express our pride in having someone so extraordinary among us.
Mazel tov, Dominique!
