Simjat Torah 5778

This past 22nd of Tishrei we had the pleasure of celebrating Simjat Torah in our synagogue, which is celebrated at the conclusion of the festival of Sukkot, being a festival in itself. It is the day when the last part of the Pentateuch is read in the synagogues in a scroll of the Torah, and the first part, also known as Bereshit, is read again.

We were also able to dance the hakafot with traditional Israeli music.
