Cultural cycle '70 years of Israel' ISRAEL through ART
The first activity of this cycle brought us closer to Israel through art.
We learned about the work of Bila Berg, an Israeli lawyer dedicated to human rights and painting.
This exhibition includes landscapes that, according to her, 'take place in visual reality and connect with emotions and nostalgia, ... in counterpoint to the complex daily reality of Israel. '
Ana Bejarano recommended poems by two great representatives of the letters of Israel.
Rachel (Raquel Bluvstein) and Yehuda Amichai. It was interesting to discover that some with color and shapes, others with words, express emotions and experiences that have a lot in common.
Many thanks to Puncho Lefelman and his gallery Mona Lisa, for letting us know Bila.
Do not miss the next meeting!
