From Palo Alto to Barcelona

Last May 24, a group from the Etz Chayim Community visited us, accompanied by Rabbi Chaim Koritzinsky. They shared Kabbalat Shabbat and dinner and, in honor of this visit, dedicated a leaf on our Tree of Life.

Although the majority of the community was in the family Majané, we had our volunteers who led the service, They prepared the dinner room and made sure the group felt at home.
Many thanks to Lili, María and Mercé for ensuring that these moments are meaningful, pleasant and unforgettable.
You have done an excellent job, proof is the message you have sent us.

"In the many days we were in Spain, at Atid we felt at home, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Everyone we met was very warm to our Etz Chayim group.
The Kabalat Shabbat service was very similar to ours, with beautiful melodies."
Sara S. added: "I was given the honor of lighting the Shabbat candles.
It was a very moving experience, and I had the feeling of connection ("am achad "" עם אחד) with their wonderful congregation.
I left feeling spiritually and physically fulfilled, thanks to the conversation and the delicious food. Thank you very much to all!"
