Rabbi Guillermo Bronstein
Dear friends of Atid, there have not been too many opportunities I had to be in Barcelona, unfortunately. Only three so far. February 1996, May 2015, and now January 2023.
Hoping that Gd will give us health and the possibility of staying active, I also hope that these visits will multiply.
Because each one of them has been crowned by a happy experience, which was the closeness of the Comunitat Jueva Atid.
In 1996 I had the privilege of being able to share a Kabalat Shabbat when there was still no fixed headquarters and to talk in depth about the future plans of a very special Kehila, thriving and effervescent in her desire to create a current and traditional Judaism in Catalonia through the time.
And boy have they succeeded!
This is what I was able to feel on that second visit in 2015 and I am sure that this time with Rabbi Irene, the first Catalan rabbi, present, Atid's push will be unstoppable.
